Laban Pure 100% Milk
Laban Pure is traditionally prepared as a drink, forcing milk to ferment for about 24 hours. After that, it is chanted and the oil is removed. As a result, the liquid – a means of relieving stress – remained at room temperature for several days. However, nowadays such approaches are not necessary because they are manufactured industrially. It can be (and is) intoxicating as a beverage and has various properties used in cooking. Alternative spellings include Laban, Laban, and Laban.
Laban Pakhtu? Yes, but not necessarily as we understand it in the Western world. And the source may be different. It is not always made from cow’s milk. Both traditional buttermilk and cultivated butter are found in Morocco and are often made from goat’s milk instead of cow’s milk.
